Top 10 Outfits of 2013

Tis the season for recaps! Here are some of our favorite outfits from our first year of blogging! It's especially fun to look back and see how much our style has developed (and how much better our posts look) than when we first started out. If you really dare you can delve into the depths and giggle along with us.

1. Going way back to last January, here is a Glitter Peter Pan Collar DIY inspired outfit.

2. Back in February we showed off these heart back dresses in some Valentines Day inspired outfits.

Springtime Outfits

3. What we wore on a beautiful spring day.

4. What we wore on a walk around our neighborhood this summer.

5. Of course, we couldn't leave out our back to school photos.

6. Who would have guessed, here we are in a lot of neutral colors.

7. Is this not the cutest picture of Leah ever?

8. We own a lot of lace, and it's getting too cold to take outfit photos outside.

9. In this post, you can see very clearly our obsession with vests and sweaters.

10. And of course, we couldn't leave out the incredible fall colors.

I'm so glad to be able to look back and see how far we've come! Thanks for a wonderful first year, everyone!

Does anyone else come home and immediately put on all the new clothes that they just bought? No? Just me? Okay. Well I'm always so excited about new stuff that I have to break it out as soon as possible. I got home from a little thrifting today where I scored these adorable velvet flats, and obviously had to wear them for these pictures.

The weather is just teasing us with a little sun before it dives into those terrible, terrible single digits later this week. Low of 8° on Friday? No thanks. I'll pass. The colder the weather gets, the more I don't want to get wet. I've started just staring at the dishes instead of washing them, and cuddling under my blankets a little longer instead of getting up and showering. So please everyone, for the sake of our hygiene, hope for those extra cold days to just not happen.

The end of this semester of classes is so soon, I'm already getting excited - though it may be a little preemptive. I still have to get through finals. I'm just too excited for winter break!

What excitement is getting you through the winter?

By now you have probably figured out that we don't wear very many colors-neutrals are just more of our thing! We will throw in some dark green or light pinks here and there, perhaps some burnt orange, but typically we stray away from bright colors in our wardrobe. We love colors elsewhere though. On our lips, fingernails, and filling our homes? That is where we love color the most.
It has been several months since we have been able to have a picture taken of the two of us together. Call it the lazy's, but we just haven't whipped out the tripod in...several months! Luckily our friend Megan was kind enough to offer to snap a few pictures of us. When we first started we always took outfit pictures together! A lot has changed in the past year!
What are your favorite colors to wear?
