ice in april??

We went to sleep last night to a big thunder storm, only to wake up to ice coating every single tree. It's beautiful, except that just 4 or 5 days ago we were tanning on the deck. Kansas, you are such a tease.

I decided instead of only complaining (trust me, I'm doing plenty of that) I would take advantage of the beauty, though my fingers went numb before I decided it was time to quit.

We are SO looking forward to some warm weather.
