DIY glitter business card holder

We have been crafting up a storm over here preparing for the big event this Saturday. We are seriously so pumped for it since it will be both of our first times showing at a craft show. I have to say, I am pretty darn nervous. I have been making little mental and written notes constantly this week of things we have yet to do and I am constantly fretting that we won't get them done or we won't have enough to fill our 8x8 space. I know we will have so much fun once we are there though.

One of our fun little projects we did this week was to make these adorable little business card holders. We knew we wanted to have everything be crafted and adorable in order to fully represent our blog.

We thought we would also share how we made it! You'll need: Mod Podge, Spray paint, glitter, paint (optional), a paint brush, and an altoid can.

Making these suckers was super easy. All we did was spray the altoid can with at least two coats of spray paint in order to have a nice even coat over the whole can. Once that was dry we stirred up a mixture of mod podge and glitter and painted a nice even coat on the outside (mixing them keeps glitter from going absolutely everywhere...we learned that the hard way awhile ago). In order to finish of the inside, since it will most often be open, we painted two coats of gold paint (this step is completely up to you).

We love the way it turned out! Our little business cards will look so cute in it once we have them printed.
