It is official. School is back in session. We became literally worthless the past two weeks-accomplishing nothing but finishing all of the new girl available on the interwebs and watching almost all of the Mad Men episodes. The break was nice though, as we both have real life responsibilities yet again.
This morning Erin set off for her last first day of classes in college (please hold the "but you might be a teacher" or "well... you never know..."'s-trust me, she insists she is finished) and I set off for my first day of student teaching. I am so excited for the adventures ahead of me, my first day was full of staff meetings and a little time in the classroom.
I was even given flowers on my first day! I thought they were from the school-I had never received flowers before so I didn't even think to look at the card. Once I got home though I saw my boyfriend's sister-in-law's address on the back and then a little note supposedly from my boyfriend on the inside. It was pretty funny to try and unfold that story. The flowers made me so happy though.
