over last weekend...

Last weekend was an adventure full of kittens, camping, driving, and love. Erin and I and our lovely boyfriends drove up to Freeman, South Dakota to attend our friends', Ben and Susan, wedding. It was a lovely drive up, Kansas and South Dakota are so pretty this time of year, especially with all the rain we have been getting! The clouds were gorgeous the whole way. 
We camped at Susan's farm the whole weekend which, despite a little rain, was a complete blast! Susan's yard was full of tiny little kittens to play with... some just the size of your hand. We had fun chasing them around through the barns. 
The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast. They had it in their gigantic shed that they had decorated perfectly. We felt at home listening to the bluegrass music, sipping free drinks from mason jars, and chatting with old friends from school.
It really was the perfect weekend.
