We managed to have a wonderful (and very busy) weekend despite our slight disappointments at the craft show. We hurried home on Saturday to watch one our great friends perform his senior saxophone recital which literally blew our socks off. We even came in a little late after our rush home and missed an entire piece, which we are sad about. He is seriously an amazing musician. Right after the recital everyone ran off to get all gussied up for Bubbert's Awards, which is an evening of desserts, student produced movies, with a dance following. Its such a fun tradition.
The next day, Sunday, was Mudslam. Another awesome Bethel tradition. Basically, everyone forms teams and plays volleyball/wrestles in a giant mud pit all afternoon. It was a little on the cold side, and our team lost all our games, but it was still fun.
Needless to say, our weekend was a little hectic, but filled with so many fun things it was hard to complain.
Thank you for all of the kind words and encouragement yesterday on our craft show post. It is lovely to hear how supportive you all are. We will get an etsy shop up and running here soon!

Never done anything like the Mudslam - but you make it look super fun! Not sure if I would ACTUALLY like getting mud all over me though...
Also. I ADORE Erin's hair in that last photo!
