terracotta pot restyling tips

Untitled Untitled
We love our terracotta pots, don't get us wrong. But when you have more than 10 of them in one room they start to look a little bit monotonous. Hence the need for a little decoration!

#1. Consider your materials! You could use paint, nail polish, glitter, mod podge, newspaper, spray paint, chalkboard paint, and so much more! There are literally endless ways you can decorate them.
#2. Though we chose not to do this, consider decorating them before you put the plant in (seems obvious). I had to walk around the apartment holding one of them so that the paint that got on the bottom would dry. I looked a but silly.
#3. Use painters tape or a pencil to create guidelines for yourself for neater lines and designs.
#4. Be creative!

Here are some of our favorite creative ways for decoration terracotta pots: Neon & Gold Leaf pots, Marbled in Nail Polish,  and Geometric Terracotta pots (using rubber bands!).

Happy Crafting!
