I realize that all we talk about is the fall weather-but seriously we are really excited about it. We stared longingly at our sweaters and boots all summer long and we finally get to wear them! Something about the fall weather just makes us so happy! Next to the entire new wardrobe it feels like I have I am also really excited about my seat warmers in my car (nerdy I know). I have been dying to turn them on and now every morning I pop those suckers on and enjoy the warmth they provide. It is like a secret little heaven inside my car on my drive to school in the morning.
Professor, sadly, has not been loving the colder weather as much as we have. It didn't help that I gave him a fresh hair cut yesterday on our kitchen floor. The poor little guy shivers as soon as the sun goes down and prefers being snuggled up in multiple blankets but he was looking so mangy and gross. It was entirely necessary. It is pretty amazing to have a dog that is patient enough to sit through an entire haircut and only get a little bit mad when I nick him with my scissors once..or twice (sorry little guy....)
What has your favorite part of the colder weather been?

Fall weather is finally here! We are whipping out our vests, long sleeves, and pants and preparing for mildly colder days. We have long awaited the coming fall, it is one of our very favorite seasons! Summer just gets slightly unbearable in Kansas-very uninspiring for outfit pictures. Now we finally get to have fun with layering and standing outside to take pictures is really enjoyable!

Erin is finally home from her weekend away at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. Our little apartment was so lonely without her! It has been nice to have her home. Her boyfriend has gone every year since he was just a baby, so she is enjoying joining that tradition. Her beautiful neon orange "bracelet" is from the event. Memories can be included in your styling too:)

This cloud sculpture in our photos was a collaboration done by three local artists, Phil Epp, Terry Corbett, and Conrad Snider. Phil has done many cloud motifs, and we just love this one for a photo backdrop! It makes for such colorful and fun photos.

Happy Fall!
