chalkboard coffee cart

Untitled Untitled Untitled

We go through weird phases of crafting obsessions on our blog. For a while it was bleach, then studs, then embroidery, and now I guess we are a little bit obsessed with chalkboard paint (I've already thought of our next project!).

Last summer I found this old ugly cart at a thrift store for only a couple bucks, so I brought it home and spray painted it this beautiful aquamarine. This summer, with chalk board paint on the brain, I walked by my beautiful little cart and had an epiphany, What if the top of the cart.... was a chalkboard?!?

So I acted on destiny, whipped out our chalkboard paint, scrubbed down the cart, and began painting. Once done I added the age old question, "tea or coffee," with my chalk, though you could ad labels for specific kinds of coffee you brewed ("hey this one is decaf!) and so on. I absolutely adore the way it turned out, don't you?

Have you had any crafting epiphany's lately?
